Ingredients
  

  • 4 large russet potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • Optional: garlic powder paprika

Instructions
 

  • Wash and peel the russet potatoes.
  • Cut the potatoes into even-sized sticks (about 1/4 inch thick).
  • Soak the potato sticks in cold water for at least 30 minutes.
  • Drain and pat the potato sticks dry with a towel.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (193°C).
  • Toss the dried potatoes with olive oil, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  • Place the potatoes in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  • Cook for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  • Check for desired crispiness; cook for additional 2-5 minutes if needed.
  • Remove from the air fryer and let cool slightly before serving.
