- 2 chicken breasts cooked and shredded
- 200 g egg noodles
- 1 medium onion chopped
- 2 carrots sliced
- 1 celery stalk diced
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
Add chopped onion, carrots, and celery. Sauté until softened, about 5 minutes.
Stir in minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil.
Add the egg noodles and cook according to package instructions, usually around 8-10 minutes.
Shred the cooked chicken into bite-sized pieces.
Once the noodles are tender, add the shredded chicken to the pot.
