Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 3 ½ cups powdered sugar
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup heavy cream or milk
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions
 

  • Place the softened butter in a large mixing bowl and beat until creamy.
  • Gradually add powdered sugar and cocoa powder, mixing on low speed.
  • Increase speed to medium and mix until well blended.
  • Add vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.
  • Slowly pour in the heavy cream or milk.
  • Beat on high speed for about 3 minutes until fluffy.
  • If too thick, add more cream, one tablespoon at a time.
  • Taste and adjust sweetness if necessary.
  • Use immediately or store in an airtight container.
