- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
- Fresh edible flowers for decoration
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease two 9-inch round cake pans.
In a large bowl, beat the eggs and granulated sugar together until pale and fluffy.
Sift in the flour, baking powder, and salt, and gently fold to combine.
