Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a cake pan.
  • In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • In another bowl, mix the honey, sugar, and vegetable oil until well combined.
  • Add the eggs, sour cream, and vanilla extract to the honey mixture, whisking until smooth.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  • Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  • Frost with cream cheese frosting or serve plain as desired.
  • Decorate with honey drizzle and fresh flowers if desired.
