- 1 cup active sourdough starter
- 1 cup warm water
- 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Optional: herbs for flavor
In a large mixing bowl, combine the sourdough starter and warm water.
Stir in the flour until no dry bits remain.
Add salt and olive oil, mixing until combined.
Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 8-10 minutes.
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise for 4-6 hours.
Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
Once risen, punch down the dough and divide it into two equal portions.
Roll out each portion on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
Transfer the rolled dough to a baking sheet or pizza stone.
Add your favorite toppings and bake for 10-15 minutes until golden brown.
