Ingredients
  

  • 1 box of strawberry cake mix
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1/3 cup of vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup of fresh strawberries chopped
  • 1 package 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • Fresh strawberries for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the strawberry cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs; mix until smooth.
  • Fold in the chopped strawberries gently.
  • Pour the batter into a greased 9-inch round cake pan.
  • Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  • While the cake is baking, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
  • Gradually add the powdered sugar and mix well.
  • In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  • Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture.
  • Once the cake is cool, spread the cream cheese mixture on top and garnish with fresh strawberries.
